Depressing! That's all I can say.
It's smaller than last year and my cab driver took me in a merry go round that ended up in a $20 cab fare from my office!
Anyway, saw a few of my old lecturers there (Yay for Kingston and Tze) and looked up more stuff on Feng Zhu Design. It's tempting, I must say, but no hasty decisions.
Also saw an old coursemate, and an old colleague.
But I guess my disappointment was that there wasn't any hype about it this year... It really feels muted. Maybe it'd be different with Craig Mullins there tomorrow. Which reminds me, note to self, bug boss about leaving earlier.
I don't think I'll go down today because the crowd leaving Expo in the evening is INSANE (I missed a train yesterday and the intervals between trains are like... 10 minutes) and I'm a little keen on catching up on some rest time.
Kino was also depressing last night, nothing that really caught my eye cept for Issue 56 of Advanced Photoshop, which has some matte painting tips. Looked up a book about tanks, was sadly more words than visuals. Tempted to go hunt down a book detailing ancient and medieval Oriental armours and weapons, but well, no rush.
Still need a new shelf and a black cloth and possibly a smaller tablet? I don't know, beginning to think mine feels a little too large at times. Of course, I could always get a smaller keyboard. I could, also, push my monitor back (which i just did). Look. More space yay!
Rearranged my room over the weekend, have a wee bit more space which is encouraging, to say the least. One small step towards my room of comfort. Small, itsy baby step.

Hmm not really missing... I like larger drawing surfaces... Just that my table sometimes feels more cramped than it should?
But anyway, I think I've found a way to manage for now.

If I told you there was something I wanted to tell you but I shouldn't tell you because I've already told you about wanting to tell you therefore telling you what I wanted to tell you, have I told you anything at all?
The A5 Intuos 4 is $599, which is the same price as the A4 Intuos 3...

I would hope not, I mean travelling wise the A5 is definitely friendlier than the A4.
